Is your job search stressing you out?
A successful job search demands an in-depth commitment of time, a strategic approach, and the skills to manage changing priorities while staying productive. Many people find themselves unable to sustain an effective job search when stress is added to the challenges they face in their job search and personal life. As a result, job search stress leads to fatigue, discouragement, anxiety and a prolonged job search.
This workshop teaches you how to manage stress effectively, allowing you to be both present and productive while job hunting. You will learn how to renew yourself and re-establish your equilibrium using the holistic BEST Model© as a foundation. You’ll gain methods to free you from unproductive and unhealthy responses that restrict and limit your impact and progress. This workshop also provides opportunities to learn easy-to-implement practices for minimizing stress while expanding your capacity to build resilience. Stress is inevitable, but it’s manageable! Join us to learn powerful tools drawn from Positive Psychology, mindfulness, humor, and art. You’ll leave with the gift of sustainable well-being.
Here’s some of what you’ll do in this workshop:
- Determine your strengths using the Roadmap to Resilience© Self Assessment.
- Identify your specific stress reactions for each component of the BEST Model.
- Identify five aspects of control and the role they play in your work and/or life.
- Use tools and techniques to bounce back and build your stress resilience
